EYEBROW MICROBLADING OR MICROPIGMENTATION

WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Eyebrow microblading and micropigmentation are semi-permanent and permanent makeup techniques that can help you, if you weren’t blessed with naturally beautiful eyebrows.

Eyebrows frame your face and give personality to your eyes. In my many years on television, I’ve noticed how much can your expression change by simply working on your eyebrows. That said, I think the important thing here is not to have perfect eyebrows, but to get the most flattering shape for your face. There is not just one universal type of eyebrows that suits everybody; so run if someone ever uses a generic standard to define your eyebrows. Always pursue that which enhances your essence and your best features.

But, what is the difference between microblading and eyebrow micropigmentation, and which one to choose? Over the years, the techniques to emphasize your eyebrows have been following a trend: people want thicker, fuller eyebrows. Both microblading and micropigmentation are a very effective option if your eyebrows have bald spots, are undefined or thinning, and you don’t want to apply makeup every day to achieve the desired effect. Both techniques can help redefine your eyebrows and attain a more symmetrical look.

Of these two techniques, what stands out the most is that they both use a special technique to draw your eyebrows hair by hair; that’s why the results are very natural and have very little to do with the outdated eyebrow tattoo, which was done by drawing a straight line over your eye. Also, both methods use very natural pigment tones, seeking the closest resemblance to your natural hair color. They do have their differences, and your choice will depend on whether you are looking for something more permanent or if you think you might change your mind in the future, and also how thin your eyebrows are.

Eyebrow micropigmentation

-People think of it as a permanent makeup technique. Its effects last somewhere between 1 to 3 years, and sometimes they last forever, after a few touch-ups, depending on skin type, age and care.

-It uses a tool called a thermograph, that combines different kinds of needles to draw hair and then create a shading and filling effect. It is performed by a machine that programs the desired shape and applies it to the skin.

-Micropigmentation might take longer to heal than microblading.

-This process is perfect for people who have lost their eyebrows entirely due to alopecia or chemotherapy effects, because it uses a machine to define the entire shape of the brow, but it can also help create a fuller, and more defined look for eyebrows in general.

Eyebrow microblading

-It is a semi-permanent makeup technique (its effects last somewhere between 6 and 12 months)

-It uses a small pen that resembles a scalpel and it’s called “tabori”. Micro-cuts are made manually in the skin using the “tabori” to deposit different pigments inside the basal layer of the skin (the superficial layer). This pen is three times thinner than the tools used for micropigmentation and tattooing.

-By creating the hair-by-hair eyebrow, microblading achieves very natural results. It is the newest technique.

-Microblading can result in some bleeding and scabbing but it heals after a few days.

This transformative treatment offers numerous benefits for breast repair and reconstruction. By skillfully applying pigments, we can recreate the natural color and texture of your nipples and areolas, restoring a sense of femininity and symmetry. Whether you've undergone breast surgery or experienced changes due to breastfeeding or other factors, micropigmentation can help you achieve realistic and aesthetically pleasing results

This innovative treatment offers a range of benefits for individuals seeking to restore symmetry and enhance the appearance of their lips. Through the precise application of pigments, we can effectively camouflage and blend the scar tissue, creating a more natural and harmonious lip contour. Micropigmentation can help improve the appearance of both surgical and non-surgical cleft lip scars, allowing individuals to feel more confident and at ease in their own skin.

EYEBROWS MICROBLADING AND MICROPIGMENTATION FOR WOMEN AND MEN

Microblading

Also known as hair by hair 3D eyebrows, this is one of my specialties and I think of it as eyebrow architecture. It’s all about creating the best shape for each face. The process is very precise thanks to the tool I use: it’s like a pen with a blade and 10 to 12 little needles at the end. These needles don’t penetrate the skin but just delicately scratch the surface, much like a paper cut. The needle very finely implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer for the skin, creating fine, realistic, and natural hair strokes. Microblading, unlike tattooing, doesn’t get to the deep layers of skin, so it’s not permanent, and the color fades within 18 months.

The “hair strokes” achieved with microblading are far more natural and finer than any tattoo, as they are done manually (there is no electrical gadget that permeates deep in this technique). To attain the perfect eyebrows for you, I use the principle of symmetric design to then make hair-to-hair strokes following the natural shape of your eyebrows, working on redefining your eyebrows or fixing imperfections such as scars, thinning, bald spots and asymmetries due to previous tattoos.

To create a natural look, I choose pigments with a tone that harmonizes with your hair color, the color of your eyes, and your skin type, using the Fitzpatrick chart. This treatment is not permanent, that is why I suggest coming back for a touch-up every 6 to 12 months to prevent fading.

To choose the right design for you, I’ll analyze your eyebrow shape, according to the shape of your eyes and your face, using microblading measuring tools and I’ll create a freehand design on your eyebrows, so that you can visualize the final result. If you like it, we’ll start the microblading process.

Once the design is done, I’ll apply a moisturizing cream with vitamins and schedule the initial touch-up, which is always after 8 days.

Micropigmentation

People think of it as a permanent makeup technique. Its effects last somewhere between 1 to 3 years, and sometimes they last forever, after a few touch-ups, depending on skin type, age and care. It uses a tool called a thermograph, that combines different kinds of needles to draw hair and then create a shading and filling effect. Micropigmentation might take longer to heal than microblading, but it’s perfect for people who have lost their eyebrows entirely due to alopecia or chemotherapy effects, because it uses a machine to define the entire shape of the brow, but it can also help create a fuller, and more defined look for eyebrows in general.

Microblading and Micropigmentation for Men

If you are a guy, you are probably wondering if these techniques can be done on men as well, and they totally can! I bet you’re asking yourself if you can achieve fuller, sexier realistic outcomes without your eyebrows looking like they have make up on. The answer is YES. Absolutely. Our approach for working on male eyebrows is completely different than with women. We’ll try to enhance your eyebrows and fix bald spots or thinning, aiming at the most natural looking outcome.

Microblading and Micropigmentation for Women

When it comes to women, most of them not only come to us to have fuller eyebrows, but to define them as well. That’s why our techniques also include options for those who want to look like they’re wearing make up all the time.

Micropigmentation, for example, offers different options, depending on your needs, and several different techniques have been developed over the years. The most popular options are powder brow, ombré brows and mixed brows, and the effects range from really subtle looks to eyebrows that look like they had soft makeup on, all the time.

How will I feel during the session?

You won’t experience any pain, since these procedures use local anesthesics. You’ll just have to be patient until the procedure is done, while you visualize your new eyebrows and appearance.

How will I feel after the session?

You’ll feel different; that’s for sure. In fact, you might feel a little bit strange the first time you look at yourself in the mirror. Don’t hesitate to call me any time you have a question. Keep in mind that the tone of the pigment will look a lot stronger right after the session and it will fade gradually during the next few days, until it settles and you look at your real tone. You will also experience some bleeding and scabbing after going under any of these procedures (read about the difference between microblading and micropigmentation here) AQUÍ PUEDES PONER EL LINK DEL OTRO TEXTO.
